Road Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Road Maintenance Worker . This position will operate heavy equipment, vehicles, power tools, and hand tools in support of road maintenance activities all over Larimer County, CO. This is a great seasonal opportunity that is scheduled to start at the beginning of April. Candidates must have a valid driver license and be incredibly punctual.

Essential Functions:

Builds, installs, and repairs wooden structures such as form work, walls and decks, fences, and railings. Builds, installs, and repairs metal structures such as signs, guardrails, cattle guards, and mailboxes. Complies with Mine Safety Health Administration (MSHA), Department of Transportation (DOT), Colorado 811, and other applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures. Maintain routine records. May operate commercial motor vehicles and heavy construction equipment. Perform physical manual labor. Perform other duties as appropriate or necessary for performance of the job.

Requirements :

Ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions. Related experience preferred. Ability to obtain a Colorado Flaggers Certification within two (2) weeks of employment. Possession of a valid driver license required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Safety-toe shoes are required. Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks. Must be willing to help where help is needed. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Safety-conscious with the ability to follow safety guidelines.

Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30

PM Compensation :
