at Right Way Flagging and Sign Co. in Camden, Delaware, United States Job Description Possess the ability to direct traffic with great attention to detail and maintain job site traffic in a safe and orderly fashion for pedestrians, vehicles and other team members. Operate communication equipment and the capability to effectively communicate directions, actions and safety techniques to maintain a safe working environment. Be proactive and anticipate certain on the spot judgment calls to maintain safe and orderly traffic flow. Ability to work with a diversified group of employees, contractors and safety personnel. Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures. Must be able to read traffic control plans, understand the complexity of various work zones including road maps and a GPS and how to properly adapt to each work site. Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions with great attention to detail Inform drivers of hazardous conditions, detours and speeding controls. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and manage traffic control thru certain work zones. Ability to work in areas where exposure to dust, varying temperatures, loud noises and other conditions may be present.
