Roadway Signage Technician

Join our team as a Roadway Signage Technician and play a key role in maintaining safe, visible, and effective traffic signage across our road networks. In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and performing basic maintenance on roadway signs to ensure compliance with safety standards. This role provides the opportunity to work outdoors in diverse environments while supporting public safety and roadway infrastructure integrity. Responsibilities Clean, inspect, and maintain roadway signage to ensure visibility and compliance with safety standards Assist with the installation, repair, or replacement of signs as needed Operate or support operations involving heavy equipment, including loaders, backhoes, or trucks, when assisting with site preparation or installation Conduct routine inspections to identify damaged or worn signage and coordinate maintenance or replacements Perform utility locating to ensure safe placement of new or replacement signage Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections and maintenance logs Collaborate with roadway construction or maintenance crews to coordinate signage projects Requirements Experience in roadway maintenance, construction, or signage operations preferred Basic knowledge of construction site safety and utility locating procedures Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus Ability to read technical drawings, maps, or site plans is beneficial Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials when required Strong attention to detail and commitment to public safety Why Join Us Be part of a team that directly contributes to safer roads and improved traffic flow.
