TRAFFIC FLAGGER
Only serious inquires please. ROW Equipment is looking to hire a experienced
TRAFFIC FLAGGER. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PASS A DRUG AND ALCOHOL SCREEN TEST FOR THIS POSITION.
You must have knowledge of flagging traffic. One year experience is required as well as prior certification. Flaggers often stand on their feet for long periods of time working in the out of doors in blazing heat, cold and rain. You must be physically capable of standing for a full shift, lifting cones, signs, etc. weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to react quickly. The main role of the traffic flagger is to: Direct vehicles using stop / slow paddles, flags or hand signals to safely stop, release or slow down traffic. Continuously watch for traffic congestion, changing volume or hazardous driving behaviors. Work zone set up Crew communication. Equipment inspections The position of Flagger is not limited to the above job duties. You will be required to work with the team in any necessary position the superintendent deems you fit for. Safety of our employees and the public is our number one concern.
