Overview Join our dynamic team as a Traffic Control Flagger and play a vital role in ensuring safety and smooth traffic flow at construction projects. In this energetic position, you will be the frontline worker responsible for directing vehicular and pedestrian traffic around active work zones, helping to maintain a secure environment for workers and the public alike. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the success of our civil infrastructure projects, including highway maintenance, and operations. Responsibilities Safely direct traffic around construction zones using standardized hand signals, signs, and flagging devices to prevent accidents and ensure smooth vehicle movement Communicate clearly with construction crews, drivers, and pedestrians to coordinate safe passage through active work areas Monitor work zones continuously for potential hazards or unsafe behaviors, escalating concerns promptly to supervisors Assist with setting up and dismantling traffic control devices such as cones, barriers, and signage in accordance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, GDOT, and MUTCD. Report incidents or unsafe conditions immediately to site supervisors to ensure swift corrective action Maintain accurate documentation of daily traffic control activities and safety checks Requirements •

MUST HAVE VALID ID

•Must be able to read and write Must be at least 18 years old Open to flexible work hours and travel Willing to undergo a Background Check and Drug Screen. (We are a Second Chance Employer) Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently Understanding of FMCSA, GDOT, and MUTCD regulations governing traffic control and commercial vehicle safety standards Strong communication skills for clear signaling and coordination with team members and drivers Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, perform manual tasks, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
