We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Construction Flagger to support a paving and roadway construction crew. The Flagger will play a critical role in maintaining safe and efficient traffic flow in and around active job sites. This position involves directing vehicles, communicating with team members, and ensuring the safety of workers, pedestrians, and motorists at all times. Flaggers will be working outdoors in varying weather conditions, often near moving traffic and heavy equipment, and must remain alert and attentive throughout their shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct traffic safely through or around construction zones using hand signals, signage, and communication devices Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices such as cones, barricades, and warning signs Monitor traffic conditions and adjust control methods as needed to ensure continuous and safe flow Communicate effectively with crew members, equipment operators, and fellow flaggers Follow all company safety policies as well as local and state traffic regulations Remain highly visible and alert to protect workers, pedestrians, and motorists Report unsafe conditions or incidents to supervisors immediately

Valid Flagger Certification Previous experience in construction or roadwork is a plus, but not required Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting Dependable with strong work ethic and punctuality

Entry Level (training may be provided for qualified candidates) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Villa Rica, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
