Streets & Roads Maintenance Worker Sr Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government - 3.3 Fayette County, KY Job Details Full-time $21.17 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications High school diploma or GED Driver's License Full Job Description SALARY The minimum salary is $21.168 per hour This position is eligible for overtime (non-exempt), if applicable. Pay Grade 515 This position is eligible for Hazardous Duty Supplemental Pay ($90/month, $0.52c/hour) and CDL pay ($1.08/hour) once obtained within the required first six (6) months of employment.

The purpose of this classification is to perform advanced skilled and semi-skilled labor tasks to maintain, repair, and improve streets, roads, and related public infrastructure in areas such as asphalt and concrete.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Two (2) years of related experience Additional years of related education may substitute for years of experienceESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs complex manual labor tasks such as digging trenches, patching roads, installing and repairing curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and drainage systems Maintains, services, and conducts repairs on buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds Operates trucks and assorted power equipment and tools required for road and infrastructure maintenance Participate in traffic control setup and maintenance during construction and repair activities to safeguard workers and the public Create and maintain documentation of all work performed and all repairs completed Respond promptly to emergency maintenance needs such as snow removal, storm damage, and road hazards Performs related work as assignedSPECIAL LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
All Certifications and licenses must be maintained as a condition of employment. Valid Driver's License Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B and Endorsement N - Tank Vehicles within the first six (6) months of employmentSPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as assigned and on emergencies. All positions require drug testing and background check before employment and may require a post-job offer physical as stated in Ordinances 21-14(b), 22-13 and 23-16. Positions are required to perform snow removal duties during weather emergencies.HOW TO APPLY
