Flaggers/spotters

Location:

Rayville, LA Job Summary We are seeking reliable and safety-focused Flaggers and Spotters to support construction and industrial projects in the Rayville, Louisiana area. This role is critical in maintaining a safe work environment by directing traffic, assisting equipment operators, and ensuring jobsite safety for workers and the public.

Key Responsibilities Flagger Duties:

Control and direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic using flags, paddles (STOP/SLOW), and hand signals Maintain clear communication with crew members and equipment operators Set up and remove traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades Monitor traffic flow and adjust positioning as site conditions change Enforce safety rules and traffic control plans at all times

Spotter Duties:

Assist heavy equipment operators by providing clear visual and verbal guidance Maintain line-of-sight with operators during backing, lifting, or maneuvering operations Identify and communicate potential hazards immediately Ensure safe distances between workers, equipment, and obstacles Use standardized hand signals or two-way radios for communication Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Monroe, LA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
