The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of traffic flow at construction sites. This position requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operations and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. The Traffic Controller will be responsible for directing vehicles and pedestrians, maintaining safety protocols, and coordinating with construction crews. Duties Direct traffic flow around construction sites to ensure safety for both workers and the public. Operate heavy equipment as needed, including but not limited to loaders, graders, and dump trucks. Collaborate with construction teams to facilitate smooth operations and minimize disruptions. Monitor site conditions and adjust traffic control measures as necessary. Maintain clear communication with team members regarding site activities and traffic patterns. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols. Requirements Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards. Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize potential hazards on-site. Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and the public. Ability to work in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety. Valid driver's license is preferred.
