We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Security Officers to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients. If you have a desire to work in industrial security, loss prevention, law enforcement, or executive protection, we encourage you to apply.Duties:
- Stand post and enforce access control procedures to prevent unauthorized entry to restricted areas
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety of all individuals on-site
- Monitor surveillance cameras and CCTV systems to detect any suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents and take appropriate action
- Maintain accurate and detailed reports of all security-related incidents
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Provide first aid in case of medical emergencies
Experience:
- No experience is required. However, under North Carolina law, you must be at least 18 years old in order to be eligible for registration as a security guard with the NC Private Protective Service Board (PPSB).
- Applicants who are currently registered as a security guard with the NC PPSB will be given preference.
- Current enrollment in a law enforcement/criminal justice or security-centric college program is a plus.
- While these are entry-level positions, previous experience in loss prevention, law enforcement, security, or a related field is certainly a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively
- Attendance of the NC PPSB's required unarmed guard training and CPR and First Aid certification will be required (provided at no cost to those selected).
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and CCTV operation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team We offer some of the best pay in NC for this type of work.
