Job Description
Overview We are seeking experienced flaggers to join our dynamic construction team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians around active construction sites. Your expertise will help maintain a secure work environment while supporting various construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require keen attention to safety protocols and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities Direct traffic flow around construction zones using clear hand signals and signage to protect workers and the public Assist with site safety by monitoring access points and ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas Support site setup by helping with the placement of barriers, cones, and warning signs as needed Communicate effectively with team members regarding daily site activities and safety procedures Maintain a high level of alertness to identify potential hazards such as loose materials or unsafe conditions Ensure compliance with all safety regulations related to the tasks Qualifications Proven experience as a flagger on construction sites or related roles in traffic control Knowledge of traffic control protocols Ability to read schematics, blueprints, or schematics related to construction layouts is a plus Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is advantageous Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Physical stamina to stand for long periods, walk across uneven surfaces, and perform manual tasks as required Valid certification as a flagger or traffic control flagging certification Valid Drivers License { with acceptable driving record } Must be 18yrs or older Willing to work out of town on occasions Join us in creating safe environments on some of the most exciting construction projects!
