$16/hour (increases to $17 after 3 months!) 1st Shift (6am to finish) Position Overview We are seeking Traffic Control Crew Members (Flaggers) to assist with roadwork and construction operations. In this role, you will help manage the flow of traffic through active job sites, ensuring the safety of workers, drivers, and pedestrians. This position is ideal for individuals who prefer hands-on, outdoor work in a fast-paced setting. No experience needed! Training is provided! Responsibilities Install and remove traffic control equipment such as cones, signage, and barricades Control the movement of traffic using flags, signals, and directional signs Safely guide vehicles through construction zones, detours, and lane shifts Observe work areas to maintain a safe environment for crews and the public Coordinate with coworkers to manage traffic patterns effectively Assist with general site duties, including setup, cleanup, and handling materials Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and traffic control standards Qualifications Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions year-round Must have drivers license Strong focus on safety and awareness of surroundings Ability to communicate clearly and work well on a team Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing manual tasks Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reading, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
