Job Summary JSE Industries is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Construction Spotter to support operations at our Abernathy, TX job site. The Spotter plays a critical role in maintaining a safe work environment by guiding equipment operators, monitoring surroundings, and helping prevent workplace incidents. Work Schedule 7 days a week 6:30 AM•7:00 PM Must be dependable and able to work extended hours as needed Key Responsibilities Guide operators of heavy equipment (trucks, forklifts, cranes) using hand signals or radio communication Monitor blind spots and high-traffic areas to ensure worker safety Maintain clear communication with equipment operators and site supervisors Identify and report hazards such as uneven ground, obstacles, and overhead lines Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures Assist with traffic control and pedestrian safety as needed Stop work and report unsafe conditions immediately Support general site duties and maintain a clean work area Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Construction or safety experience is a plus Strong awareness of surroundings and attention to detail Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Physically able to stand for long periods and perform job duties Preferred Certifications OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Flagger Certification First Aid/CPR Work Environment Active outdoor construction site Exposure to moving equipment, loud noise, and varying weather conditions Why Join JSE Industries Safety-first work culture Opportunities for growth and development Team-oriented environment
