Outdoor Work Job Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking experienced Traffic Control Flaggers (MOT Certified) to join a growing team supporting roadwork and construction projects. This role is critical in maintaining safety for workers, motorists, and pedestrians while ensuring smooth traffic flow. If you enjoy working outdoors and being part of a hands-on team, this is a great opportunity!
Key Responsibilities:
Direct traffic using proper signaling techniques Control traffic flow to ensure safety for workers, pedestrians, and drivers Set up and maintain traffic control devices (cones, signs, barricades) Monitor and adjust traffic patterns as needed Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Follow all safety regulations and company policies Maintain a clean and organized job site
Requirements:
✔ Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation (required) ✔ Current MOT / Traffic Control Certification (required) ✔ Ability to stand for extended periods of time ✔ Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions ✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills ✔ Ability to work independently and stay alert in fast-paced environments
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience as a flagger or in traffic control
Physical Requirements:
