Job Description

PAY RATE
$25.35 - $30.11 PER
HOUR JOB SUMMARY
The Streets III Summer Seasonal position helps repair city infrastructure across the city to provide enhanced community safety.
TYPICAL DUTIES
Operates a variety of specialized equipment such as front-end loaders, trucks, sweeping and cleaning streets, in a safe, courteous, and professional manner. Assists with asphalt paving/patching, striping/ traffic markings, Stormwater repair and maintenance. Install signposts, street signs, checks for maintenance and replace broken signs as needed. Places temporary traffic control devices including barricades, lane cones and warning signs to channel traffic. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be over the age of 18.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of heavy equipment operation DOT physical card with the ability to obtain/ maintain a Utah Class B Commercial Driver's License with Air Brake Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions common to heavy equipment Ability to work alone and make sound decisions.
