D. Brooks is hiring Traffic Control Crew Leads to help set up and manage safe work zones.—we offer on-the-job training and support your growth every step of the way. At P.D. Key Responsibilities Set up, maintain, and remove temporary traffic control zones, including signage, cones, and rumble strips in accordance with VDOT regulations Load and unload equipment from company vehicles safely and efficiently Operate company vehicles to and from job sites Drive TMA and perform towing duties as needed Complete required paperwork accurately and on time Follow all PPE requirements and company safety policies Understand and comply with P.D. Brooks' safety manual and employee handbook Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable communication (phone/text) to receive work assignments Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) Pre-employment drug screening Capable of standing for long periods and using hands/arms continuously Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform flagging duties Benefits Pay raises based on performance and training milestones Paid holidays Opportunity to earn a VDOT Traffic Control / Flagger Certification Paid Time Off (PTO) Health, dental, and retirement benefits (including 401(k)) Year-round work with advancement opportunities Schedule 8-hour shifts with potential overtime On-call availability Weekend work and night work as needed Consistent, year-round employment License/Certification Valid Driver's License
