Traffic Control Flagger (Traffic Control Technician) Reports to:

Traffic Control Supervisor Summary:

Utility Traffic & Restoration, LLC. (UTR) has immediate openings for Traffic Control Flaggers in our WI Traffic Division. UTR is a union contractor specializing in traffic control and surface restoration services for utility companies and their contractors throughout the Midwest.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license class D with clean driving record (Required) Strong communication skills, both oral and written Ability to create and maintain relationships with vendors, customers, and employees Ability to coordinate several tasks at once and work under strict deadlines Must be able to pass a background check, drug testing, and DOT physical Must always be reliable and professional Ability to safely operate a company vehicle to and from job sites Must have strong attention to detail Must be able to lift 50+ pounds on a semi-regular basis Compliance with all safety regulations is mandatory Must be able to work in all weather conditions Ability to stand for long periods of time in the elements Must be able to jobsite report within a 50-mile radius of your home address Primary responsibilities: Set up, maintain, and remove temporary traffic control work zones and flag traffic according to

MUTCD & WISDOT

standards to maintain safe work zones for customers Communicate with team members and customers Additional duties as requested by management

Benefits:

Pay without experience: $21.60 Pay with traffic experience or after 6 months of training: $22.68 Benefits including medical, dental, vision, pension Weekly pay Paid training & certifications Company truck available for qualified, motivated, and reliable employees Additional notes: Full time, non-seasonal position. Hours and location often depend on customer needs and can be weather dependent.
