Performs traffic control and flagging activities as needed; follows safety rules and regulations on all work zone and flagging sites, including placing signs, barricades, traffic cones and other warning devices, duties may vary according to job assignments.
Setting up barricades and traffic cones along construction sites to cordon off certain areas, removing all signs, barricades, and traffic cones upon completion of work.
Communicates with other flaggers using handheld radios to direct two-way traffic onto a single lane.
Appropriately positioning of warning and detour signs around construction sites
Operates vehicle and miscellaneous hand tools in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures, conducts routine equipment maintenance and daily equipment inspections according to Superior Pocahontas standards.
Performs basic manual labor as needed.
Prepares reports and maintains records.
Recording the license plate numbers of motorists who neglect to obey traffic signs and directions.

$12.00 - $14.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
