Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Communication Lineman and become a vital part of building and maintaining essential telecommunication and network infrastructure. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, communication systems that keep communities connected. Your expertise will ensure reliable service delivery across fiber optics, copper cabling, and electrical systems, supporting both residential and commercial clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, operate heavy equipment, and develop specialized skills in telecommunications technology. Duties Install Strand to proper spec. Install fiber in both new build and over-lash situations. Installation of fiber optic jumpers. Operate heavy equipment such as bucket trucks and power tools to access elevated or hard-to-reach areas safely. Use schematics and technical diagrams to accurately perform cable routing and network infrastructure setup. Climb poles or structures safely using climbing gear to install or repair overhead lines and equipment. Maintain safety standards by adhering to protocols during construction activities involving electrical systems and telecommunication lines. Requirements Proven experience in field service roles within telecommunications or electrical industries. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as bucket trucks, power tools, and hand tools efficiently and safely. Strong knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to network infrastructure and electrical systems. Skilled in climbing poles or structures using appropriate safety gear; previous climbing experience preferred. Good physical condition with the ability to perform construction tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions. Electrical experience or background in electrical work is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for troubleshooting network issues effectively.
