Journeyman Linemen are responsible for operating, inspecting, and maintaining digger derricks, bucket trucks, and associated tools assigned to them. It is also the responsibility of the Journeyman Lineman to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient job site while also teaching apprentice lineman skills they need to successfully assist with the work tasks and advance in their careers. Essential Job Functions 1. Regular and reliable attendance. 2. Prepared and on time for scheduled shift with proper PPE. 3. Responsible for Daily Shift validations. 4. Must possess a current CDL and Journeyman Electricians License. 5. Engage in morning safety tailgate meeting and communicate safety topic with crew when needed. 6. Be aware of the dangers associated with hazardous atmospheres and mitigate hazards associated with accessing job site and transportation clearances. 7. Be actively involved in all KSI and Customer safety processes. 8. Perform tasks assigned by Foreman. 9. Develop knowledge of KSI SOPs and refer to the SOP prior to each task. 10. Follow all KS Industries, LP safety, and customer policies and procedures. 11. Shall perform all physical and mental requirements listed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities General knowledge of the GO 95. General knowledge of 12kv and below overhead electrical systems. Be able to troubleshoot as necessary. Reclosures, transformers, and substation distribution. Ability to comprehend and communicate instructions in English Ability to communicate with employees and various business partners in a professional and courteous manner. Knowledge of technology (iPads, cellphones etc.) Demonstrate knowledge of Stop Work Authority (SWA) Ability to complete required safety training Ability to demonstrate knowledge of industry specific safety standards General knowledge of the

NFPA 70E.

Knowledge of electrical operating principles of motors and electrical apparatus. Knowledge of local electrical codes Ability to read blueprints, schematics and written reference material Ability to perform mathematical calculations Ability to use hand and power tools Education and Experience Preferably 5 years of industry experience.

Pay:

$42.00 - $46.00 per hour
