- Colorado Springs Utilities is hiring a
- Journey Lineman (Troubleshooter)
- to support operational needs and maintenance on our electric distribution system.
- What Else Will You be Doing?
- + Assisting in the maintenance of underground and overhead power lines and equipment + Responding to underground outages to assist in service restoration + Setting up clearances and hotline holds for emergency power restoration + Performing distribution and transmission switching to accommodate repairs and clearances + Performing clean-up and safe handling of hazardous waste from system equipment + Testing equipment and components for damage, reliability, and safety + Scheduling outages with residential and commercial customers and electricians for both scheduled and emergency repairs _Please note that this position requires working on-call, overtime, weekends, holidays, etc.
