We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused individual with experience in underground utility or electrical distribution work. Job Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair underground electrical distribution systems. Assist with conduit installation, cable pulling, trenching, vaults, transformers, and related underground utility work. Read and follow job prints, maps, work orders, and construction drawings. Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and utility equipment safely. Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and job site rules. Identify potential hazards and report safety concerns to the supervisor. Work as part of a crew to complete assigned projects efficiently and safely. Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas in clean and safe condition. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements Previous underground lineman, utility construction, or electrical distribution experience preferred. Knowledge of underground electrical systems, conduit, cable pulling, transformers, and utility construction methods preferred. Valid driver's license required. CDL preferred but not required unless specified by the company. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. or more as needed. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a crew. OSHA, CPR/First Aid, or equipment operation certifications are a plus. Schedule Full-time position. Schedule may vary based on project needs. Overtime, weekends, travel, and emergency call-outs may be required. Work Location Tampa, FL and surrounding project areas.
