Job Description

JOB Under general supervision, works with utility maps as a guide to confirm the locations of water and/or wastewater lines. Responsible for making lines as requested per Sunshine 811 member operations system.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Performs and processes utility line locating as needed for water and wastewater infrastructure. Field verifies underground utilities beyond electronic locating devices such as hand digging, probing and excavating as necessary. Corrects locations of lines on mapping as required. Uses color coding to identify each specific type of utility and marks the location with color coded spray paint and flags as required. Performs any other functions as deemed necessary for the operation of the utility. All other duties as assigned.
