Job Description

Utility Locator - Growing Telecommunications Company We are a growing telecommunications company based in Northwest Indiana that offers its employees competitive wages, benefits, 401K, paid time off, and an opportunity to grow professionally.

The Position :
We're looking for a Locator that can locate underground fiber, telephone, and cable TV utilities. Familiarity with CAD and ESRI-based programs is preferred. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in a support role.
Qualifications and Skills:
Basic computer skills for accessing maps and entering data Ability to collaborate with other utilities Ability to interact professionally with the public Proficiency in operating locate equipment Ability to read and interpret maps Knowledge of telephony hardware and underground facilities Must be insurable under the Company's auto insurance carrier Dependable and consistent attendance Self-motivated Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively Ability to work in extreme weather conditions Physical Requirements Extensive walking required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
