Job Description:

As a Crane Service Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial cranes to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. Working closely with our clients and internal teams, you will play a key role in supporting the uptime and efficiency of crane operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on various types of industrial cranes, including overhead cranes, gantry cranes, and jib cranes. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals. Conduct load tests and functional tests to verify the proper operation of cranes and lifting equipment. Identify worn or damaged components and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions. Collaborate with customers to understand their specific crane service needs and provide timely and effective solutions. Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in service vehicles, workshops, and customer sites. Keep abreast of industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in crane maintenance and repair.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in mechanics, electrical systems, or related field preferred. Proven experience as a crane technician or similar role, with expertise in troubleshooting and repairing industrial cranes is a HUGE plus Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Familiarity with crane safety standards, regulations, and best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
