The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication lines and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of both copper and fiber systems, as well as the ability to work in various field environments. The Lineperson will play a crucial role in ensuring reliable communication services for our clients. Duties Install, maintain, and repair low voltage telecommunications systems. Climb poles and ladders to access overhead lines and perform necessary installations or repairs. Utilize power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks related to line installation and maintenance. Conduct field service operations, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Collaborate with team members to build and enhance telecommunications infrastructure. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during service calls. Skills Experience with low voltage systems installation and maintenance. Strong field service skills, including the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Familiarity with aerial cabling standards and practices. Ability to climb heights safely while performing installations or repairs. Competence in using power tools for construction-related tasks. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Basic electrical knowledge is a plus for understanding system requirements.
