Disability Responsibilities:

Line locators will work under the direction of their company supervisor, performing work that involves visual inspection of predefined construction areas and reading and interpretation of utility maps to determine the presence of underground utilities, while using special electronic equipment to locate and protect the utility from being damaged. Some of these utilities include gas, electric, water, cable, sewer and more.

Requirements:

Valid drivers license (Must be able to present a physical Driver's License card, other documentation is not accepted)Upon employment, subject to random drug testing in compliance with DOT guidelinesMust be able to work overtime when duties cannot be performed within a normal work schedulePrevious underground Utility Locating experience for Gas and/or

Electric Working Conditions and Hours:

Outdoor work environmentDriving company vehicle to and from work sitesNormal working hours are 7:30am-5pm, Monday through Friday; weekend work required when needed

Knowledge and Abilities:
