Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure is preferred but not required.

Duties and Qualifications:

Perform various tasks related to line maintenance and construction of Aerial plant. Bucket truck operation as well as all other equipment in relation to aerial construction. Understand how to proficiently set up a job site for strand, fiber and coax installation.. Able to work effectively as a leader and part of the team. Safely work in high traffic sites in both rural and congested areas. Understanding of clearances with other utilities, ground, road, highway, sidewalk, and non-pedestrian areas. Ability to lash and over-lash single and multiple cable bundles of fiber or coax. Ability to read and interpret network blueprints. Ability to safely climb poles using gaffs or ladders. Knowledge of DOT, City and OSHA regulations and permitting. Complete worksite restoration to standards.

General Requirements:

Highly motivated individual. Ability to handle multiple issues simultaneously. Willing to perform limited travel depending on local workload. Work nights and weekends, (on-call) schedule, overtime as needed. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean record . (CDL a plus) Pass a drug screen and background check per company policy.

Physical Requirements:

Lift and carry loads of 75 lbs. or more. Work outside in all types of weather conditions. Able to work at heights required Able to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb, and lift throughout each day. Work while standing 60-70% of the time. Competitive Hourly pay based on experience
