Job Description
PA One Call Locator
- Electrical Division 3080 Babcock Boulevard, Pittsburgh, PA 15237 $25
- $30 an hour

- Full-time We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented PA One Call Locator to handle all requirements associated with PA One Call tickets.
- Respond to PA 811 locate tickets within required timeframes
- Use electronic locating equipment (pipe/cable locators, ground-penetrating radar) to identify and mark buried electrical lines
- Accurately mark utility locations using color-coded paint and flags per APWA standards
- Maintain detailed, accurate field records and locate documentation
- Coordinate with contractors, excavators, and internal crews to communicate utility locations
- Investigate and document any utility conflicts or discrepancies
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies Requirements
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with a clean driving record
- Prior utility locating experience preferred; electrical or construction background a plus
- Familiarity with PA One Call / PA 811 regulations
- Ability to read and interpret utility maps, GIS systems, and as-built drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in the field Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
