In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining overhead cranes and related equipment to ensure seamless operations. Your expertise will help prevent downtime, enhance safety standards, and support our commitment to operational excellence. We are seeking motivated professionals with a strong mechanical background and a passion for industrial maintenance to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on overhead cranes, including hoists, trolleys, bridges, and control systems. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments. Repair or replace worn or damaged components, electrical wiring, motors, gears, and structural parts using welding and welding techniques. Test crane operations thoroughly after repairs to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational specifications. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software. Collaborate with field service teams to diagnose complex issues involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), high voltage systems, low voltage controls, and industrial electrician components. Assist in training operators on safe crane operation procedures and proper maintenance practices to promote a safety-first culture. Skills Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities with overhead crane systems. Strong knowledge of industrial mechanics, electrical systems (including high voltage), hydraulics, and schematics interpretation. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical circuits. Skilled in welding techniques including welding for structural repairs. Familiarity with CMMS platforms for maintenance tracking and documentation. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and control system diagrams accurately. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electricians, HVAC/R systems, scissor lifts, and other industrial equipment. Excellent analysis skills to diagnose complex mechanical or electrical faults efficiently. Strong customer service mindset with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and operators. Knowledge of safety protocols related to high voltage systems, low voltage controls, and industrial maintenance standards.
