Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a certified and skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join our team in the renewable energy sector. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and servicing wind turbines to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, mechanical skills, and the ability to work at heights. Duties Perform routine maintenance and inspections on wind turbines to ensure compliance with safety standards. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage components. Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to assist in repairs and installations. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs and maintenance tasks. Conduct rigging operations safely while adhering to industry standards. Provide field service support, including troubleshooting issues on-site and performing generator repairs as needed. Document service activities accurately and maintain records of repairs performed. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure projects are completed efficiently. Experience Previous experience as a service technician or in a similar role is preferred. Strong electrical experience with knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards is essential. Familiarity with climbing techniques and safety protocols for working at heights is required. Experience in construction site environments is beneficial. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and rigging techniques is highly desirable.
