Job Description
Required Qualifications Must have a BA/BS in an Engineering Technology or Science, or a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years. Preferred Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or similar technical field. Basic computer skills including experience with MS Office, especially Excel. Some familiarity with basic shop tools and an aptitude for electromechanical devices. Experience working in a research environment with data acquisition systems. Logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Major Areas of Accountability (with percentages) Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Renewable Hydrogen and Ammonia Pilot Plant (85%) Monitoring the plant, troubleshooting issues that arise, coordinating with contractors for repairs/maintenance Developing best operational practices and procedures Developing and implementing safety procedures and protocols Developing and implementing test protocols Collecting and analyzing production data. Supporting the design and installation of the Renewable Hydrogen and Ammonia Pilot Plant (10%) Attending project meetings On-site coordination for plant installation Developing data acquisition systems and procedures. Duties as assigned (5%) : Will be expected to back up and cross train with other renewable energy staff members. Assist with tours and outreach events.
