Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a Lead Wind Technician / Site Coordinator to support an upcoming project where we will be leading site operations —a first for our team. This is a hybrid role combining hands-on technical expertise with project coordination and operational oversight . This individual will work closely with the Operations Manager to help ensure smooth site execution, support field technicians, and manage key administrative and reporting functions. Experience with V47 turbines is highly preferred. This is not a standard technician role—we are specifically seeking individuals interested in growing into site leadership and operational coordination
Key Responsibilities:
Field & Technical Support Perform and support WTG maintenance , including preventive and corrective maintenance Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics (electrical and mechanical) Support SCADA monitoring and operational performance tracking Assist with hydraulic pitch systems and general turbine functionality Ensure compliance with LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) and safety standards Provide on-site support and guidance to field technicians Site Coordination & Operations Support Act as a liaison between field crews and Operations Manager Assist in coordinating daily site activities and workflow Support onboarding and site setup processes for new technicians Help manage on-call schedules and field coverage Administrative & Reporting Duties Review and validate timesheet submissions Review and submit data and reporting documentation Assist with Salesforce usage , including credential setup and tracking Monitor and review Divvy transactions for accuracy and compliance Support ongoing documentation, reporting, and process improvements QualificationsRequired Experience as a Wind Turbine Technician Strong background in: Electrical troubleshooting Mechanical repair Preventive & corrective maintenance Familiarity with SCADA systems Understanding of O&M operations in wind energy Experience working in a field-based, travel environment Preferred (Nice to Have) Experience with V47 turbines Previous lead, supervisory, or project coordination experience Exposure to site-level operations or client-facing roles Experience with Salesforce or similar systems What We're Looking For Someone who can bridge the gap between field execution and operations Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to step into a leadership-support role without needing full PM title Comfortable balancing hands-on work + administrative oversight Why This Role Matters This role is critical as we expand into leading full site operations . Work Environment Travel-based position (project-dependent) 80% site travel rest of time required ot be in the Magnolia office Combination of field work and administrative coordination On-call responsibilities as needed
