Pay:

$27.00 - $29.00 per hour.

Schedule:

Role:

The company is seeking a Traveling Wind Turbine Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain variable speed/variable pitch wind turbines. This is a hands-on field role requiring travel, physical stamina, and strong technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

What You'll Do:

Troubleshoot and repair problems on variable speed/variable pitch wind turbines. Perform all mechanical and electrical component maintenance; repair and replace components as required. Climb 300 feet or more on a regular basis. Read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics. Complete required paperwork including service reports, time cards, and expense reports. Use all mandated safety equipment and comply with all company and government safety regulations. Complete all required training in a satisfactory manner and timeframe. Participate in on-the-job training with on-site personnel. Assist in the training and development of lower-level operation and maintenance personnel. Looking For:

High school diploma or GED. 12 months of relevant experience. Electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical fundamental skills. Basic computer skills. Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis. Ability to work in inclement weather Willingness to continually embrace personal and professional development. Valid Class C driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred Certifications:

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 NFPA 70E. First Aid / CPR.. Tower rescue certificates
