Job Description

High Peaks Painting specializes in painting ski lifts at resorts across the United States. Our small team spends the summer working in some of the most beautiful places in the country while helping resorts maintain and improve their lifts. We're looking for one additional team member to join us for the remainder of this season, with the goal of growing into a Crew Leader in the near future. This isn't a position where you'll spend years waiting for an opportunity to lead. We're actively looking for someone who can earn increasing responsibility yet this year and help guide our crews as we continue to grow. What You'll Be Doing Painting ski lift towers, terminals, and chairs Working at heights using fall protection equipment - you can't be scared of heights with this role! Traveling to ski resorts throughout the United States Driving company trucks and trailers between projects Helping coordinate daily work plans with the crew Solving problems and keeping projects moving forward Working outdoors in gorgeous mountain environments Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who: Has experience leading small teams and working alongside the people they supervise Is comfortable making decisions and solving problems independently Has experience towing trailers and driving large pickup trucks Is comfortable working at heights Enjoys travel and living on the road during the work season Has a positive attitude and works well with a close-knit crew Takes pride in doing quality work Painting experience is helpful but not required. Leadership ability, reliability, and a willingness to learn are more important. We can teach you the details of the job. We can't teach attitude.
