JOB SUMMARY
Support the site using maintenance mechanic skills and knowledge to achieve maximum productively, meeting customer needs, in compliance with safety, environmental, and other regulatory requirement. Promotes a spirit of cooperation between all departments and demonstrates a commitment to achieve the goals and objectives of the team, department, and plant. Must understand and implement all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, NJDEP, DPCC and other regulatory & safety related requirements to the position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining daily efficiency of the plant operations by providing additional support of the plant maintenance/plant department for the Perth Amboy NJ facility. Maintain adequate stock in the maintenance storeroom by setting/ assessing/ adjusting inventory target levels, taking frequent inventories of parts, using SAP to create purchase requisitions to maintain inventory as well as receive deliveries and restock storeroom. Support plant and maintenance team by locating parts, using SAP to create purchase working with procurement on placing orders, following up on orders, receiving deliveries, and ensuring parts and supplies get to the correct person. Maintain SAP data such as maintenance part purchasing information, parts lists, and max/min parts inventory targets. Performs physical inventory of the parts/supplies. Receive parts to maintain required inventory, must be able to recognize/understand correct parts and correct supplies and equipment that is required. Work with vendors to resolve any issues with parts/supplies, delivery dates, etc. Facilitate Contractor Safety Orientation. Support plant and maintenance teams by assisting with the maintenance work order process by reviewing/editing work notifications, preventive maintenance work order, print and distributing work orders. Daily plant wide inspections including writing Near Misses. Assist with other tasks as directed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma, Trade School Training on Mechanical Equipment or possible welding and pipefitter training. 3 - 5 years of professional experience in manufacturing environment. Good problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to review daily equipment problems and determine ability to complete work order. Organizational skills Communication skills Skilled mechanical abilities Demonstrated knowledge Familiar with all tools, pump repair & installation, pipefitting, equipment repair, etc. Must be able to initiate PM maintenance, preferable experience in pump repairs, welding/pipefitter experience. Passing score of CRC Test.
