Your Role:
As our Maintenance Engineer, you'll be the driving force behind maintaining our hotel's infrastructure, from fixing equipment and handling guest requests to performing preventative maintenance.Some of your responsibilities include:
Handle maintenance requests swiftly and effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction with timely solutions. Follow established procedures and policies diligently, and report emergencies or unusual situations immediately. Perform a range of preventative maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and minor repairs, contributing to the hotel's upkeep including guest rooms, meeting rooms, equipment, and furniture. Conduct regular property walks to monitor cleanliness and address any maintenance issues promptly. Immediately follow up on any alarms or safety concerns. Assist in maintenance of health code requirements for pool and spa. Regular property walks throughout the day to ensure proper cleaning/sanitation is occurring. Assist housekeeping in stripping rooms, carting laundry, sanitizing the gym/fitness center as needed. Assist with setting up meetings. Other duties as assigned.What We're Looking For:
Prior Engineering experience in a hotel or similar field preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.). Flexible availability. Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.What We'll Do For You:
