Job Description

Maintenance engineering role focused on factory machinery support, skilled-trades coordination, equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and infrastructure reliability. Job Requirements 3+ years of general maintenance, mechanical engineering, or factory automation experience 3+ years of equipment troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to support multi-shift or extended-shift operations Ability to work 2nd shift required Ability to work occasional overtime, including weekends Experience assigning and monitoring skilled-trades work Experience diagnosing machine malfunctions and identifying root causes Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures Experience supporting preventive maintenance activities Preferred Skills Maintenance leadership experience in a union environment Mechanical system design or diagnostic experience Electrical system design or diagnostic experience Hydraulic system design or diagnostic experience Automation and controls troubleshooting experience Allen-Bradley component experience Rockwell Automation PLC software experience Experience interfacing with machines through communication protocols, including: Ethernet DeviceNet Serial Profibus Modbus SAP PM module experience Experience with machinery and equipment safety standards, including:
OSHA 29 CFR 1910 NFPA 79 NFPA 70E
Job Responsibilities Provide engineering analysis and technical support for factory machinery and infrastructure Provide project management and project coordination support Support advanced troubleshooting of machinery and infrastructure issues Assign and monitor work for skilled-trades personnel Coordinate skilled-trades work for customer requests, preventive maintenance, and project work Assign short-term work schedules to maintenance team members Support maintenance planning to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, quality, and safety Diagnose machine malfunctions to root cause Recommend repair and improvement solutions Support execution of repair and improvement plans Review and analyze equipment spare parts lists Review and improve preventive maintenance plans Review and maintain maintenance documentation Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures Identify and mitigate workplace environmental and safety risks Instruct teams in safe working methods Identify risky work behaviors and escalate serious safety issues as needed
Pay:
