$110,000 - $120,000 (Exempt)
Schedule:
1st Shift (Flexibility required for on-call nights/weekends) Overview We're seeking a hands-on Maintenance & Facilities Manager who brings strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for developing teams. This role is ideal for a true leader and mentor, someone who can coach, hold accountability, make tough decisions, and unify a team while remaining actively involved on the floor. This individual will oversee all maintenance and facility operations, ensuring optimal equipment performance, safety compliance, and continuous improvement across the plant. #INDL Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and develop the Maintenance & Facilities team Drive accountability, including performance management and corrective actions Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members Foster a collaborative, professional, and high-performing team environment Train and develop team members, including succession planning for leadership roles Maintenance Operations Oversee daily maintenance operations, including troubleshooting and repair of equipment Ensure maximum machine uptime through both proactive and reactive maintenance strategies Develop, implement, and manage predictive and preventive maintenance programs Plan and execute major repair projects and equipment improvements Monitor and manage department KPIs and performance metrics Technical Oversight Provide hands-on support with CNC machinery, PLC systems, and Fanuc controls Utilize strong electrical troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues Maintain and improve facility systems and infrastructure Safety & Compliance Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely, including strict adherence to LOTO procedures Promote a safety-first culture across the department and facility Planning & Resource Management Manage maintenance scheduling, PM tracking, and work order systems Control spare parts inventory and develop critical spare parts lists Oversee contractor relationships and external service providers Allocate department resources effectively and manage overtime Continuous Improvement Maintain organization and 5S standards within the maintenance department Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime Qualifications Proven leadership experience managing maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment Strong background in CNC machinery, PLCs, and Fanuc controls Solid electrical troubleshooting and repair experience Experience with facility maintenance and infrastructure systems Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and hold teams accountable Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Ability to remain hands-on while leading a team Why This Role? $110,000.00 - $1,200,000.00 per year
