Maintenance Handyman

Position Summary We are looking for a dependable, experienced, and well-rounded Handyman / Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is not a basic maintenance position where you only handle one trade or specialty. Our facility is over 40 years old and requires someone who is hands-on, resourceful, and capable of handling a wide variety of repairs and maintenance tasks on a daily basis. The ideal candidate must be able to troubleshoot problems, think independently, and handle everything from electrical and plumbing-related issues to painting, repairs, equipment maintenance, and general building upkeep. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, responds quickly, and understands how important it is to keep a facility running smoothly and safely. Responsibilities Perform general repairs and maintenance throughout the facility Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues such as outlets, switches, lighting, breakers, and fixtures Change and install light fixtures, bulbs, and LED lighting Handle repairs involving doors, locks, hinges, walls, flooring, and ceilings Paint and touch up areas throughout the building as needed Maintain and assist with pool area upkeep and repairs Replace and maintain A/C filters and assist with basic HVAC-related maintenance Respond quickly to unexpected maintenance issues and emergency repairs Assemble, repair, or replace equipment and fixtures when needed Perform preventative maintenance to avoid larger repair issues Keep maintenance areas organized and tools/equipment in good condition Communicate repair needs, supply needs, and larger issues to management Work closely with outside vendors such as plumbers and A/C technicians when necessary Ensure the building remains clean, functional, and safe for members, guests, and staff Qualifications Experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or facility maintenance Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, and general repair work Ability to troubleshoot and fix a wide range of maintenance issues independently Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment Reliable, punctual, and able to work with urgency Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor when needed Must be flexible and willing to handle whatever issues arise throughout the day What We're Looking For We are not looking for someone who only knows one trade. We need someone versatile who can walk into a problem and figure it out. Our building constantly has things that need attention, whether it is electrical work, repairing outlets, fixing doors, painting, pool-related maintenance, changing A/C filters, or handling unexpected repairs that come up daily. Pay:

$35,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
