Maintenance Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our facilities maintenance operations. Your leadership will ensure that all equipment, systems, and infrastructure operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and industrial maintenance will be instrumental in maintaining optimal production performance and safety compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure timely repairs and preventive maintenance of machinery and facilities. Manage electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify root causes efficiently. Oversee the installation, calibration, and repair of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in manufacturing processes. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety checks for audit purposes. Ensure adherence to safety protocols related to HVAC systems, electrical systems (including high voltage), and industrial maintenance procedures. Work closely with Operations to effectively maintain all plant processing, packaging, and support equipment in proper running order, while meeting all government mandated criteria necessary to continue plant operation. (food safety) requirements and auditing standards and ensure compliance in all aspects of the maintenance department. Manage environmental impact to meet or exceed governmental standards and company policies. Develop an effective parts management strategy. Work closely with Operations to review and audit the preventive/predictive maintenance programs for assigned production and facility equipment to ensure a safe, efficient operation with a minimum of cost and downtime. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the job. Follow all company safety protocols. Other duties as assigned by management. Requirements Proven management experience leading maintenance teams within manufacturing or industrial settings. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience—familiarity with schematics and troubleshooting electrical circuits. Hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, HVAC systems, and industrial equipment. Knowledge of facilities management practices including safety regulations for high voltage and low voltage systems. Ability to interpret technical schematics and use diagnostic tools such as Ohmmeters effectively. Excellent project management skills with a focus on planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Supervising experience in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and operational excellence. Fluency in English for clear communication across teams and documentation purposes.

Qualifications and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field. 5+ years of supervisory experience. Experience in electricity, electronics, computers, PLCs, fluid mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, boilers, refrigeration, preventive/predictive maintenance is preferred by not necessary. Experience working within a food manufacturing environment.

Pay:
