Introduction to BlueOval SK At BlueOval SK, we will lead the transformation of the electric vehicle (EV) battery business. As the future of BlueOval SK, you will help lead the battery revolution by working alongside our teams as we build the batteries required for electric vehicle business excellence. Our brand-new advanced manufacturing facility will use SK On's 30+ years of battery expertise to become the world's best battery manufacturer. About the Opportunity The Maintenance Team Manager at BlueOval SK Battery Park in Stanton, Tennessee will have a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a key member of the start-up team tasked with launching the greenfield facility. The BlueOval SK Maintenance Team Manager will lead the maintenance team within the Battery site in Stanton, TN in line with the facility Production System. Key Responsibilities This role will be responsible for leading a team of hourly and salaried employees at the facility including, but not limited to: Ensure site grounds and parking lot maintenance, including landscaping and snow removal Support preventative maintenance programs for facilities Comply with master licensing and site permit requirements Implement and maintain Visual Factory across all site plant engineering equipment Coordinate safe bulk unloads Ensure compliance with environmental requirements, including waste management, recycling, and wastewater treatment Comply with combustion safety and arc flash training and reporting requirements Manage mechanical/civil engineering projects
Minimum Qualifications and Key Experiences Education:
High School diploma, some post-secondary (college or skilled trades) 1-2 years of Maintenance, operations, and technical experience Technical work experience and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment and the ability to interface with plant hourly, salary, and leadership. Preferred Qualifications and Key Experiences Bachelor's or Master's degree Fine (5) years of operations experience in a leadership role Manufacturing experience including automotive (assembly a plus) Six Sigma Blackbelt Background in Lean Manufacturing Experience with Greenfield / Startup Sites Capabilities Required Leading transformational change Innovation Critical thinking Resourcefulness Confidence, courage and independence Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, collaborator Drive for results and sense of urgency Curious and Data-driven Change Management and Organizational Design This individual will have experience managing high degrees of complexity in processes and communication with all levels of leadership. They will rely on their project management skills and strong business acumen to help deliver business requirements. A collaborative leadership style is necessary to influence and build meaningful relationships with all cross functional teams.
