Maintenance Manager

Exterior Image, Inc., a successful landscape and maintenance operation, is seeking an individual to work primarily on high end residential properties. Successful candidate will have experience in turf and plant management and knowledge of IPM practices and have an applicators license or the ability to obtain one. Duties include but are not limited to: Perform general landscape maintenance / management duties, including inspections of turf and shrubs to outline and implement recommendations of care and maintenance. Small tree, shrub, and perennial design installation. Apply fertilizers and pesticides as required. Maintain MDA log of pesticide and fertilizer applications in compliance with Maryland State law. Presentations of daily and weekly schedules/commitments to crews. Affirmation of routes and personnel distribution for jobs. Inventory of goods out and return of same. Daily paperwork review and job costing, submittal for invoicing. Site visits, write up of work orders and implementation based on observation and acceptance Client contact to review client satisfaction of work performed based on observation and acceptance. Procurement of materials- fertilizers, pesticides, mulch, specialty items, annuals Promote seasonal annual installations and schedules crew accordingly. Maintain cleanliness of shop, cleanup of trucks and equipment and inspections of tools. Scheduling repairs and purchases of tools based on workloads and discussion with crews, shop mechanic and business owner. Set an example for the crews. Seasonal snow removal as required

Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English is a must
