PROPERTY MAINTENANCE MANAGER

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're a small hospitality group operating four small businesses in Pagosa Springs and we're looking for a hands-on, self-driven Maintenance Manager to keep them all running safely and smoothly. You'll be the first line of defense for facilities issues across the properties — doing the work yourself when you can, leading a small team when needed, and calling in specialists when appropriate. This is a part to full-time onsite role. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Walk the properties regularly and compile a prioritized task list. Handle a wide range of hands-on repairs and maintenance — carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing fixtures, electrical basics, locks and hardware, appliances, HVAC filters, landscaping, snow removal, and more. Coordinate and supervise one or more maintenance staff. Communicate clearly with management about property status and budget needs. Manage vendor relationships for jobs requiring licensed contractors. Handle situations involving guest or employee concerns with professionalism and composure.

Team supervision Staff delegation Conflict resolution Clear communication Self-directed work ethic Hospitality experience a plus — familiarity with the pace and expectations of hotel or restaurant operations is valued but not required. Attitude, initiative, and broad trade knowledge matter most.
