Shift:

3:45pm-12:15am (Will need to train on 1st shift) Job Description Under general supervision, the Maintenance Mechanic will learn and assist in the building, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical packaging equipment and related systems. The role involves performing skilled tasks in accordance with standard practices of the electrical, mechanical, machine shop, and other trades. After an initial training period of six months, the workload will become more independent. Responsibilities Work from diagrams, written, and verbal descriptions. Assist with performing suggestions to improve equipment and facility. Create instruction documents for maintenance. Assist in the construction, design, testing, and evaluation of prototype equipment and facilities. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Essential Skills Calibration Hydraulics Pneumatics Automation Conveyor maintenance Filling machines setup Electrical troubleshooting Mechanical troubleshooting Preventive maintenance Repair skills Additional Skills & Qualifications High school graduate or vocational school. Considerable knowledge of practice, methods, tools, equipment, and materials of the electrical trade. Knowledge of occupational hazards of the electrical trade and necessary safety measures.

! Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Goshen, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
