1616928 United Talent Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic in the Clarksburg, WV area. This person will be responsible for repairing, installing, rebuilding, and maintaining machinery and facility equipment. This role is critical to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plant machinery and equipment with minimal supervision across various levels of complexity
• Perform maintenance tasks based on work orders, sketches, and verbal instructions
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machine tools such as lathes, mills, and saws
• Fabricate and repair parts using machining and welding techniques
• Complete preventative maintenance (PM) tasks to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance
• Assist with storeroom responsibilities, including inventory monitoring and asset control
• Work collaboratively with maintenance team members and communicate effectively with leadership
• Respond to on call needs and work overtime or weekends as required
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies while maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Support additional plant and maintenance operations as directed

Pay & Shift:

Variety of shift options $18-22/HR ( Pay will be based on experience and discussed at time of interview )

Skills & Requirements:

• Technical certificate OR 3-6 months of related maintenance experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Experience using shop equipment such as drill presses, sanders, hydraulic presses, and jacks
• Forklift operation experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret safety procedures, manuals, and work instructions
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts and industrial equipment
• Occasional exposure to electrical systems, heights, fumes, and varying temperatures
• Moderate to loud noise levels in a manufacturing setting
