Title Maintenance Mechanic Location Jackson, Alabama Pay Rate $120K annually and up (flexible based on experience) Work Schedule Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Relocation Assistance Available based on candidate requirementsJob Description A leading Food & Beverage manufacturing company is seeking two highly experienced Maintenance Mechanics to support automated manufacturing and packaging operations at its large-scale processing and distribution facility in Jackson, Alabama. The facility operates advanced, high-speed automated manufacturing equipment in a climate-controlled environment, including silo-fed blenders, industrial packaging systems, labeling equipment, and form-fill-seal machinery handling production batches ranging from 3,000 lbs to 45,000 lbs. The ideal candidate will be a highly seasoned maintenance professional with extensive hands-on experience supporting automation and packaging equipment within food manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments. Essential Functions Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated packaging and processing equipment Work on food labelers, fillers, robots, and related automated manufacturing systems Support preventative maintenance activities to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability Respond to equipment breakdowns and production-related mechanical issues Maintain and repair high-speed packaging and blending machinery Work with automated form, fill, and seal systems used for retail and bulk packaging operations Qualifications Minimum 10+ years of automation mechanical experience Strong background working with packaging equipment in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments Hands-on experience with food labelers, fillers, robotic systems, and automated packaging machinery Proven experience troubleshooting and maintaining high-speed industrial equipment Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Willingness to support occasional weekend work when required Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Experience supporting large-scale industrial processing equipment Preventative maintenance expertise within automated manufacturing facilities Experience working in high-volume production environments Strong troubleshooting and mechanical diagnostic skills Flexibility to relocate with company assistance if needed
