Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of commercial laundry equipment and sealing systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your expertise and preventive maintenance knowledge will help prevent downtime, improve equipment longevity. It will support the overall safety and productivity of our facilities. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on machinery. This includes activities like cleaning, oiling, adjusting, and testing equipment to ensure proper operation. Trouble shooting and repairing commercial laundry equipment, (washers, dryers, extractors. condensers, pumps, blowers, presses and other laundry equipment. Including cleaning, oiling, adjusting, and testing equipment to ensure proper operation. Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes efficiently. Repair or replace faulty components such as belts, motors, pumps, valves, and electrical parts to restore equipment functionality. Utilizing hand tools and measuring equipment. Has welding experience. Performing basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work: Responding to service request. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and installations. Assist with construction projects or upgrades related to mechanical systems as needed. Lead or collaborate with team members on complex maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols and OSHA. Keeping detailed maintenance logs, pertaining to all service activities, including inventories and parts used. Keeping and maintaining work areas and laundry safe and clean.

Pay:

$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
