A Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for preventive and reactive maintenance on facilities, equipment, systems and machines within the plant
Responsibilities:
Maintain production equipment and machines Perform preventive, corrective and scheduled maintenance on machines and equipment Familiar with CNC controls Troubleshoot problems and identify potential solutions Completes work orders as assigned by Maintenance Manager using Maintenance Work Order Database Coordinate with vendors and technicians for repairs and installations
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent 1 or more years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably within a machine shop Familiar with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems Ability to stand for prolonged periods Ability to perform repetitive operations Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate these skillsets: Blueprint reading experience Ability to work as part of a team and undergo cross-training Effective communications skills
  • Hiring for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. All training will be on 1st shift for up to 2 months before moving to hired shift.
  • Relocation is not available for this position.

Summary Pay Range:
$25.10 - $32.60 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
