Job Summary:
A growing food manufacturing operation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance activities and help foster a positive, safety-focused team environment. This role oversees the performance and reliability of plant equipment, facilities, and systems to ensure consistent production and minimal downtime. The position plays a key role in driving preventive maintenance strategies, coordinating repairs, and supporting operational efficiency across multiple shifts.
Job Duties:
Supervise and support a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with operational priorities. Plan, assign, and prioritize maintenance tasks based on equipment criticality and production needs. Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime. Schedule and track routine inspections, servicing, lubrication, cleaning, and calibration activities. Respond to urgent repair needs, coordinating resources to minimize disruption to production. Ensure all maintenance work complies with company standards, regulatory requirements, and workplace safety guidelines. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, parts usage, and system performance.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or related field preferred. 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience within a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment. Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills. Solid understanding of preventive maintenance practices, safety standards, and equipment reliability. Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, or CMMS platforms preferred.
